Happy Friday!! What a week it's been! Tomorrow, Space X will try again to launch, weather permitting! We have had a lot of inquiries about the Safety and Security zones. Here is a map of those areas. On May 30, 2020, the U.S. Coast Guard will be enforcing Safety Zone “A” and the Security Zone located near Cape Canaveral Air Force Station for the launch of the Falcon 9 Rocket. The zones will be activated at 12:22 p.m. and will remain active until deactivated by the Captain of the Port.
If you are planning to watch the launch from the water, you must avoid this area leading up to and during the launch of the rocket. Boaters can view the launch south of 28-30”N or north of 28-46”N to 28-51”N. Remember to bring your safety gear and boating essentials.
